In his visit to the FITUR tourism trade fair, and before returning home, Pepito was presented to the people of Cuenca last weekend in the gardens of the provincial council.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Even if it was just for a few hours and a few days, we wanted to show that the image of Pepito can be associated with the city of Cuenca and the Provincial Council&rdquo;, stated Benjam&iacute;n Prieto, president of Cuenca provincial council.<\/p>\n<p>The Dinosaur Route will open to the public at the end of the month, bringing a tourism boost to the city and a fresh dynamism to an area with low population density.<\/p>\n<p>TALHER, the Clece group subsidiary that specialises in the environment, will be managing the route in its entirety as it passes through 15 different places in the province. Starting at &lsquo;Lo Hueco&rsquo; archaeological site in Fuentes, the route takes in Ca&ntilde;ada del Hoyo and the areas of los Palancares and Tierra Muerta, ending at &lsquo;Las Hoyas&rsquo; archaeological site in La Cierva.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation by the city council was attended by the second vice-president of the provincial council, Juli&aacute;n Huete; the council&rsquo;s Tourism representative, Francisco Javier Domenech; and the Development representative, Javier Parrilla. From TALHER\/Clece, the event was attended by the delegates Bautista Guti&eacute;rrez, Eduardo Mena, Pedro P&eacute;rez and David Carrasco.
