These aim to recognise and drive social initiatives that support disadvantaged collectives. Unlike previous editions, this time the Awards have been organised at state level and focus on a specific issue: gender-based violence.<\/p>\n<p>The finalists by category are:<\/p>\n<p>Award for\u00a0<strong>the Best Social Project<\/strong> delivered by not-for-profit entities for women who are victims of gender-based violence (VGV).\u00a0 Out of six finalists, three projects will receive awards.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hilos Violeta. Women&#8217;s Association &#8220;La Rondilla&#8221;, Valladolid<\/li>\n<li>Care and Comprehensive Action for VGV Mothers\u2019 young children. Dem\u00e9ter por la Igualdad Association. Malaga<\/li>\n<li>Mirada en violeta. Candelita. Madrid<\/li>\n<li>Family meeting place with a focus on gender issues. Domitila Hern\u00e1ndez Association. Tenerife<\/li>\n<li>Workplace Integration of VGV women. ARED Foundation Barcelona<\/li>\n<li>Dona Impuls. Novafeina Foundation. Quart de Poblet. Valencia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Award to the Author\u00a0<strong>of the Best Journalism<\/strong> on gender-based violence. Of the three finalists, one piece of journalism will receive the award.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Laura Guti\u00e9rrez. Diario M\u00e9dico.<\/li>\n<li>Arturo Checa. Las Provincias.<\/li>\n<li>Chelo Tuya. El Comercio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The winners of Edition III of the Compromiso Awards will be announced on 7th November at a gala that will take place at Teatros del Canal in Madrid. In addition to the two award categories, there is a Special Award by the Jury for most prominent personality in the struggle against gender-based violence.<\/p>\n<p>The jury for Edition III consists of key figures in the institutional world and civil society involved in the struggle against gender-based violence.\u00a0 Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Ordo\u00f1ez, Government Representative for Gender-Based Violence; Luc\u00eda del Carmen Cer\u00f3n, Director of the Institute for Women and Equal Opportunities; \u00c1ngeles Carmona, President of the Observatory on domestic and gender-based violence; Marta Ari\u00f1o, CEO of G+J Espa\u00f1a; Luis Lorente, Cinema Director and script writer and director of the film &#8220;Rotas&#8221; (Broken); Fernando Grande-Marlaska, Judge; Gemma Nierga\u00b8 Journalist, and Crist\u00f3bal Valderas, Clece&#8217;s President.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clece Social, the company&#8217;s social project,\u00a0has announced the\u00a0finalists in\u00a0Edition III of the Compromiso Awards.
