{"id":4884,"date":"2018-06-05T11:20:17","date_gmt":"2018-06-05T11:20:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sitio2.utopiasl.eu\/2018\/06\/05\/clece-active-participant-in-world-environment-day\/"},"modified":"2024-10-01T08:17:36","modified_gmt":"2024-10-01T08:17:36","slug":"clece-active-participant-in-world-environment-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clece.es\/en\/2018\/06\/05\/clece-active-participant-in-world-environment-day\/","title":{"rendered":"CLECE: ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>Over the course of a week, the company will replace more than 10,000 litres of the chemical products with ecological ones<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>It will encourage the consumption of organic foods as part of awareness raising amongst employees<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>A competition to generate environmental ideas aims to involve the organisation\u2019s personnel, through projects focused on environmental sustainability.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madrid, 5th June 2018.<\/strong> Clece is supporting World Environment Day through different awareness raising and conservation initiatives involving employees, clients, and those who use its services.<\/p>\n<p>As one of the initiatives promoted by the organisation, an activity will take place throughout the 5th called \u201cAlimentos Ecologicos: Buenos para la Naturaleza, buenos para ti\u201d [Organic Foods:\u00a0 Good for Nature, Good for You].\u00a0 This is an information exercise on the benefits of organic foods. It is aligned with food safety and nutrition objectives based on three principles: secure, healthy and sustainable catering. More than 1,200 people will take part in the training sessions during which the company will also deliver 700 kilos of ecological fruit.<\/p>\n<p>Clece has also commenced the first edition of an environment competition for employees. The aim is to raise awareness about the importance of reducing environmental consumption, such as paper or electricity and to mitigate the potential impact of both and dangerous and non-dangerous residues on the environment.<\/p>\n<p>In the first phase, 50 innovative projects have been submitted. These are aimed at sustainable mobility, the reduction of paper consumption through the digitalization of documents, reduction of chemical products, and environmental education in nursery schools for children aged between 0 and 3 years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ecological cleaning products<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From 4th to 9th June, 156 centres where Clece provides cleaning services will commemorate the day by replacing chemical cleaning products with those that are ecological and more environmentally friendly.\u00a0\u00a0 Cleaning centres, nursery schools and care homes for the elderly have joined in the action. It is envisaged that more than 10,000 litres of chemical cleaning products will be replaced by ecological ones.<\/p>\n<p>Other activities involving service users and clients will take place at different points where Clece provides its services. At Murcia University and in various hospitals throughout the Valencian Autonomous Community, Clece will give a plant to everyone who records their commitment to the environment in a special book provided for the purpose. As a symbolic act, a tree will be planted at the La Fe Hospital in Valencia.
